About Tara Sharma

Tara Sharma, known artistically as Kaushaltara, is a renowned contemporary artist and respected art educator from Varanasi, India, where she was born on 19th October 1980. She completed her Master’s degree in Fine Arts (MFA) from Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi.

She is the wife of Brajesh Sharma and together they are the Co-Founders of Nest Fine Arts Academy. Tara is also a mother of two children. She was married in Nainital and her primary professional work area is the Delhi-NCR region, where she has been contributing actively to the field of art and art education.

Her artistic style draws deeply from the cultural and spiritual essence of Varanasi, blending traditional influences with expressive contemporary forms. Her paintings are admired for their subtle emotions, fine detailing, and elegant compositions.

Beyond her artistic achievements, Tara plays a significant role in art education. She serves as an adviser to many schools and educational institutions, including Kendriya Vidyalaya, guiding them in developing strong art programs and creative learning environments.
